@echo_pbreyer @qbi if only he would be this vocal about all the surveillance shit happening in russia, but probably he is busy licking vladimirs boots.

@Nfoonf Let's take another angle. If he's still in Russia and would start to criticize Putin he would be shot, imprisoned or deported/fled to a country where he could be shot, imprisoned or deported by/to USA, where he could get shot or imprisoned to make an example.

That's a complicated tree of not-so-fun choices as consequences of being a whistleblower against the USA.

Three American presidents had the chance to pardon him. I am sure he would have liked to come home. None of them did, they didn't leave him a choice. Now you try to label him as a traitor?
