@kkarhan one would think that this must already be illegal, maybe Germany and Poland could view this proposal as a "rule of law" violation and take measures accordingly... well not gonna happen but maybe the sole possibility of anti "rule of law violation" measures could make them think twice.

maybe by passing those more member states would no longer view the #ChatControl as "#necessaryEvil"

@Nickname @echo_pbreyer TBH, I'm sick and tired of #cyberfacist|s like #Zensursula doing a "#CorrosionStrategy" on #HumanRights and #CivilRights.

• We've all been "civil" on this debate yet the enemy side is still not about to concede despite being outcalled and unmasked as the #facist #PoliceState fans they are.

• We don't have time to wait till they corrode further and try to deny peoples' right to remain silent and ban proper #E2EE.

It's important to enshure that any attempts to even selectively enforcing such legislation would be not just impossible but result in the exact & deserved counteraction:

• #MassAdoption of #PGP/MIME & #XMPP+#OMEMO as well as #Tor by everyone.

• Espechally "law-abiding" / "nothing to hide" citizens & #TechIlliterates!

Everything else is cowardice at this point!

• Nobody cares about their human- and civil rights until they need to exercise them!

It would violate constitutional civil- and human rights like the right to remain silent and the right to not self-incriminate!

What I want is people like #Zensursula being given a public warning to not attempt this corrosion of civil rights if they don't want to face judges in court for their unconstitutional acts.

@kkarhan No, neither of these rights works as you suggest in Civil Law legal systems. They apply specifically to overt criminal procedure.
