Weird. You edited the toot and changed 'index' to 'feed' in the fedi handle to 404 media.

So I received a mastodon 'edited a post' notification that in the display text reflects that. However when I hover over that with my mouse it still points to the 'index' handle, and same when replying.

'Open original page' shows everything as I'd expected it to be.

This is probably just the handle.
webfinger is not part of ActivityPub.
Probably both webfingers resolve to the "index" ActivityPub Actor.

resolve to the same Actor.

It would be cooler if it would just resolve both webfingers to 404media.co/.ghost/activitypub cause then we can JUST use "404media.co" without any handle bullshit too.
This is also how we'll do it in the Public Broadcasters Project, e.g. here also for the subdomains (special interest programmes like ZDF neo or arte)
