2025 soll beginnen:
1. Rückbau der Kanalstraße / Mindener Straße, der ehemaligen (; bis zur die Verbindung zwischen und mitten durch Bad Oeynhausen), zwischen Ringstraße (Löhne) und Eidinghausener Straße; einspurig je Richtung.
2. Neubau des Radschnellwegs 3 () zwischen Ringstraße und Dehmer Straße.

Der Wegebau soll insgesamt 16,6 Millionen Euro kosten, wovon 5,7 Millionen Euro auf die Stadt entfallen.
Dazu kommen insgesamt 6,7 Millionen Euro für Regenwasserkanäle und -behandlungsanlagen, von denen auf die Stadtwerke 4,8 Millionen und die Stadt 0,9 Millionen Euro entfallen.

Eindrücke von der stoppen! – retten! – Jetzt!

Am 22. April laden Bielefelder und Herforder Organisationen zu einer angemeldeten Fahrraddemo entlang der zwischen und ein. Die Aktion ist Teil bundesweiter Aktionstage des Bündnisses „Mobilitätswende jetzt!“ für eine soziale und klimagerechte Mobilitätswende.

Mit dabei sind: Bund für Umwelt und Naturschutz Deutschland, Verkehrsclub Deutschland, Verkehrswende OWL, Fridays for Future, Health for Future, Parents for Future, Extinction Rebellion, Friedensfördernde Energiegenossenschaft Herford und weitere.
