Da ich eh ne neue Kette brauche wollte ich eventuell gleich ne andere Kassette einbauen, die meiner Meinung nach passen sollte und ne bisschen größere Übersetzung hat, allerdings steht teilweise das es kompatibel ist, teilweise nicht. <br>Gewünscht wäre eine Shimano CS-HG 50-10 11-36. Die Schaltwerkkapazität sollte es mit 41 hergeben. EAN wäre 4524667407515. <br>Vielleicht weiß jemand Rat. It's been an extremely smooth ride on the coastal road to Longniddry, got overtaken by a car only once in 60 minutes.</p><p>I can still see smoke from the gorse fire on Arthur's Seat even at 20km on a somewhat foggy day. The cyclists made a poor choice of routes — the Bridge Pedal often brings out inexperienced riders. The driver was (at minimum) grossly distracted and speeding. No license plates? And the high, blunt front-ends are perfect to maximize injury to a pedestrian or cyclist in a collision. </p><p>Then there’s the issue of the Morrison Bridge itself. Many drivers on it have just come down off the freeway and haven’t yet adjusted to city speeds. But the 5-lane layout (3 East-bound, 2 West) just invites motorists to speed. And they do. What the hell even is that tangle of overpasses, viaducts, and local exits on the East side?</p><p>None of the bridges downtown are earthquake resistant. So the current plan is to tear down the Burnside and leave the Morrison. In my opinion that’s the wrong choice. Tear down the Morrison: It’s dangerous, ugly, confused, and a bigger maintenance headache for the County than Burnside Bridge.</p><p>Long-term, we should remove I-5 and 405 and route freeway traffic around the city. There’s no reason to send cars and trucks traveling between Washington and California through the center of Portland. This was misguided violence done to the city in the 60s and 70s. It was unnecessary, and a choice. Canada did not carve freeways through the center of all their cities.</p><p>There’s more causes to this crash than just one cyclist’s naïve route choice and a motorists negligent operation of a dangerous machine. Cars ruin cities.</p>

They will not even LOOK for a bicycle at some stage, and motorcycles are also in danger for the same bias."<br><br>Typically, the dedicated bike lanes go on main roads.<br><br>Side streets still have mixed traffic, and are dropped to 30 kph or less.<br><br>Here's what the research shows:<br><br>"Pedestrian crash: There is a 10 per cent risk that a pedestrian will be killed if hit by a modern car at 30km/h.<br><br>"At a 50km/h impact speed, the risk increases to 80 per cent.<br><br>"Side impact crash with another vehicle: There is a 10 per cent risk that a person in a safe car will be killed if they crash at speed of up to 45-50km/h. At a 70km/h impact speed, the risk increases to 80 per cent.<br><br>"Side impact crash with a tree/pole: Because the energy is concentrated on a smaller area, side impact crashes with a narrow, fixed object, like a tree or pole, are less survivable than those with another vehicle, and the fatality risk at 45-50km/h is much higher.<br><br>"Head on/frontal impact with another vehicle: There is a 10 per cent risk of a driver/passenger being killed at collision speeds up to 70km/h. At 90km/h the risk is up to 80 per cent.<br><br>"With increased speed, the amount of energy released in a crash increases. It is inevitable that some of this energy will be absorbed by the human body.
