de.hypotheses<p>Den Krieg hören, riechen und schmecken: Sowohl für Soldaten als auch für die Zivilbevölkerung brachte der Erste Weltkrieg Veränderungen für die Sinne mit sich. Miriam Klöpper 🌱<p>Heute ist der Gedenktag zum Ende des ersten Weltkriegs, was in Deutschland vergleichsweise wenig Relevanz in der öffentlichen Wahrnehmung hat. Es wurde vor einigen Jahren Vera Brittains Testament of Youth verfilmt. International Encyclopedia of the First World" gibt es einen ausführlichen Artikel von Cédric Cotter über das Wirken des Roten Kreuzes im Ersten Weltkrieg (1914–18).
