Christian Waidner<p>Die <a href="https://metalhead.club/tags/froscon" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>froscon</span></a> übers Wochenende war definitiv ein Highlight dieses Jahr. Die 20. Ausgabe, organisiert vom FrOSCon e.V. bringt die Free und Open Source Szene echt zusammen. Der Mix aus echt nerdigen Themen, die tief ins Technische gehen und den eher politischen Vorträgen ist eine großartige Mischung. Und das alles aus einer studentischen Idee vor 20 Jahren entstanden und richtig, richtig groß geworden.</p><p>Dazu die tolle Community, bei der es einfach völlig egal ist, wer Du bist, woher Du kommst, was Du gerne an Klamotten trägst oder für welches Thema im Space Du Dich interessierst ..... und es war echt viel für mich dabei:</p><p>1/n</p>

Re: @andypiper's keynote at #FrOSCon.

The slide perfectly sums up the state of affairs wrt tech, digital media, and society. Most of you will probably agree.

However, Andy also pointed out that – despite all problems – "humans are still amazing". They're "incredible creative organisms" with access to "great tools".

Let's keep that in mind. Let's continue to promote #cooperation, #OpenSource and #decentralization.

Because "the internet depends on it".
