@randahl also Nicky #haley supports kamala #harris in her own words. The polls are way of the real voting outcome. #election2024
@mastodonmigration @KamalaHarrisWin one thing to keep in mind here is how many (if any) "#Republican" voters are voting for #Harris.
If all the work by the anti #Trump Republicans like #Cheney is breaking through, and if there are significant numbers of #Haley voters ignore her endorsement, then we might expect the important number to not be the deltas but the totals.
Heck, the truth is probably that it'll be anti Trump Republicans that we're counting on to save us...
@tomiahonen @SueDiOh
The #MisogynistInChief NEVER would have picked #Haley as his #VP. She wasn't even on his Short List.
While he LOVES "tricking" his critics into humiliating themselves, stringing them along as they kiss his ass chasing jobs/etc he has no intention of ever giving them, in the end, Haley still committed the unpardonable sin of being born female.
#Haley Voters for #Biden, a group supporting the Democratic ticket after Republican Nikki Haley dropped out of her party’s primary, announced that they were changing their name to support another woman: #HaleyVotersForHarris. The group, backing the VP & Biden’s selection, endorsed her as a “tough prosecutor” in an X post. The group also encouraged her to select a #moderate Democratic running mate, such as Govs. Josh Shapiro (Penn.), Roy Cooper (N.C.) or Andy Beshear (Ky).
"The scenario reinforces my theory that #Haley embodies a sort of dead end for Republican women — or perhaps it's a #Trump-imposed glass ceiling. Back in February, The 19th published an article titled “What Nikki Haley’s run means to Republican women who don’t love Trump,” which makes the case that, to some conservative women, Haley personified a position within the MAGA movement that wasn't wholly devoted to Trump and his selfish ambitions."

>> #Trump's VP pick will probably be some mashup of #KimJongUn and #Putin
I don’t believe #NimrataRandhawa #Haley looks like either of them.
Also, it won’t be Trump’s pick. The VP choice will be thrust upon him.
@MessagingMatters The implication as I read it was that she was _not_ trying to engage in sabotage of US foreign policy for the benefit of the Republican Party and against Joe Biden and the Democrats.
There are many ways to suck up to Trump - oh so very, very many ways. All of them are easier than flying to Israel, getting access to Israeli bombs, and creating a photo op that will absolutely be used to recruit thousands or tens of thousands of people to movements such as the Taliban and Islamic State.
Haley knows what she did, and what it would do.
This was more than sucking up to Trump.
"#Haley’s political trajectory makes clear that she wants to be a major player in #GOP politics, and her future within the party would be imperiled if she didn’t pledge to support the most powerful and popular Republican ahead of the election. A promise not to vote for Trump could have nudged the millions of Republicans who voted for her to sit out Election Day or defect to another party. And Haley is far from a Never Trumper."

Einstige Rivalin Haley will nun doch für Trump stimmen
S. Hesse.
Now that #NikkiHaley has submitted to the #MAGA man child, we will witness a political miracle in which #Haley has a change of heart about #DonaldTrump.

Most Haley supporters will back #Trump in the general election, so we should not rely upon them to save #America .

"Super Tuesday is over, and the polls were wrong. Again...
So how did #Trump actually do, compared to expectation? Not very well. He underperformed the polls in nearly every contest. And in many cases, that underperformance was in the double digit range. The pollsters got voter sentiment so badly wrong in #Vermont that Trump actually lost the state to #Haley, where he was supposed to win by around 30 points."

Nikki Haley’s exit from the GOP race pushes off — again — the day Americans could elect a woman president.
AP reports: "Without endorsing Trump, Haley withdrew from the contest with a shoutout to the women and girls who supported her, and by quoting a woman who did make it to the top in a democracy — Margaret Thatcher, Britain’s first female prime minister."
