Ansonsten ist ein Hungerstreik allenfalls etwas für junge welt, neues deutschland oder ggf. noch die taz. ThomasBürger- und Menschenrechtsorganisationen fordern die sofortige Rückholung von Maja T. von Ungarn nach DeutschlandGemeinsame Presseerklärung11.07.2025Wir verfolgen mit großer Sorge die kritische Situation von Maja T., die im Juni 2024 rechtswidrig von deutschen Behörden nach Ungarn ausgeliefert wurde und seitdem in Isolationshaft in Ungarn sitzt. Die menschenrechtswidrigen Bedingungen dieser Haft sind wiederholt skandalisiert worden, ohne dass dies zu einer Änderung geführt hätte. Maja T. ist gegen die Bedingungen ihrer Haft seit dem 5. Juni 2025 in einen Hungerstreik getreten und wurde vor kurzem in ein Haftkrankenhaus verlegt, der Gesundheitszustand von Maja T. ist besorgniserregend.Es ist allerhöchste Zeit, dass sich die Bundesregierung mit der Situation von Maja T. auseinandersetzt. Maja T. besitzt die deutsche Staatsbürgerschaft und muss sofort nach Deutschland zurückgeholt werden. Die Regierung ist auf den Schutz der Menschenwürde verpflichtet. Das gilt für Maja T. nicht nur wegen der deutschen Staatsbürgerschaft, sondern auch deshalb, weil die deutschen Behörden die gegenwärtigen Haftbedingungen durch eine rechtswidrige Überstellung nach Ungarn erst herbeigeführt haben. Die Sorge um das Leben von Maja T. sollte Maxime der Bundesregierung und zuständigen Behörden sein.Wir fordern erneut, sofort sämtliche diplomatischen und juristischen Schritte einzuleiten, um die Haftbedingungen für Maja zu ändern. Dies kann am besten mit der sofortigen Rückholung von Maja T. nach Deutschland erreicht werden. Ferner unterstützen wir die vier Forderungen, die von Majas Vater, Wolfram Jarosch, formuliert worden sind.Wir erinnern zudem daran, dass mittlerweile sowohl ein italienisches als auch ein französisches Gericht eine Auslieferung an Ungarn untersagt haben, weil die Haftbedingungen in Ungarn so katastrophal sind, dass eine Auslieferung nicht verantwortbar ist.Unterzeichnende:Humanistische UnionKomitee für Grundrechte und DemokratieRepublikanischer Anwältinnen- und Anwälteverein e.V.
