Been a bit busy juggling projects with some people locally. Experimenting with Meshtastic a bit. I'm in a bit of a signal hole so putting up a node on a big hill not far from me. Found an interesting solar panel + mppt charger + 20ah LiFoPo4 battery pack with a ton of space inside on Amazon for "Solar cameras".
Also has regulated 5v and 3v rails.
Hoping to get this wired up with a RAK4631 and test it out

Ugh, got my droplet water meter working and talking to MQTT, but had to chat with the AI tech support to get there.
Fun fact: it didn't help
The problem was my 37 character mqtt password, their apps password box accepting 26, and their device only being able to use 25.
Eventually got it, reported the bugs back, and flagged it up (seemingly) to humans.
And folks wonder why I tend to design my own Smart Home Internet Things...
The reason why none of the big car manufacturers are selling "none of that Internet crap" versions of any of their cars is because they know if they did sales of the connected versions would plummet, and they can't afford for that to happen because (a) it would prove they've been lying about what consumers want and (b) they want your sweet, sweet data to mine and sell.

Não é caro fazer e manter edifícios come estas capacidades "inteligentes"/automáticas, nem difícil de manter a funcionar.
Je me suis remis à bidouiller mon #CheapYellowDisplay autrement appelé CYD, un #ESP32 avec un écran TFT et d'autres périphériques. J'ai joué avec #esphome et @homeassistant, y a du LVGL aussi (cf ma tentative de reusage de la liseuse cassée). J'ai réussi à utiliser SDL pour itérer sur le graphisme sans avoir à flasher l'appareil. À voir si ces communautés acceptent mes contributions de documentation.
