But in a few samples it seemed like those sites did not receive / react to our <a href="https://chaos.social/tags/ICMPv6" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ICMPv6</span></a> Packet Too Big</p>

Sounds like a feature, but job-wise it's a bit impractical.</p><p>Some debugging showed that for just the api-emea.flightproxy.teams.microsoft.com host on v6 regular ping works, ping with bigger payload gets dropped. Every other host I tested has correctly working <a href="https://chaos.social/tags/MTU" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>MTU</span></a> on v6 and v4. Connection on v4 it works fine.</p><p>What the actual... Any <a href="https://chaos.social/tags/network" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>network</span></a> people seen this before? Bad peering at my new ISP?</p>

Dies macht sich dadurch bemerkbar, dass insbesondere größere Dateien/Seiteninhalte hier nicht geladen werden. Zur Zeit sieht es für uns aus, als ob sich <a href="https://chaos.social/tags/Microsoft" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Microsoft</span></a> nicht an IPv6-Standards hält (und insbesondere ICMPv6 Packet Too Big Nachrichten unkorrekterweise ignoriert). Aber wir sind da dran, das zu klären.</p><p>Jetzt nur über IPv4 sollte es aber vorerst gehen.</p>

I see my virtual router on my laptop send ICMPv6 Packet Too Big packets. But Microsoft keeps sending too big packets. So with that I seem to be able to recreate the issue without the Freifunk context.</p>

We could reproduce that `wget -6 "<a href="https://code.visualstudio.com/%22`" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="">code.visualstudio.com/"`</span><span class="invisible"></span></a> would hang here at <span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://chaos.social/@ffhl" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">@<span>ffhl</span></a></span>, while it would work on a normal home DSL.<br>The issue to us seems to be that Microsoft seems to ignore <a href="https://chaos.social/tags/ICMPv6" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ICMPv6</span></a> Packet Too Big messages. Which are essential for <a href="https://chaos.social/tags/IPv6" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>IPv6</span></a> Path <a href="https://chaos.social/tags/MTU" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>MTU</span></a> discovery...<br>Can anyone reproduce the issue?
