@DavidM_yeg @johnefrancis Seems like many of Alberta's problems stem from poor gov decision making that leaves them exposed in boom-and-bust cycles. The favouring of low taxes instead of planning for the future bites hard.

The Norway-Alberta comparison is a powerful one. Where Norway built a trillion-dollar future fund with a similar population and resource-base, Alberta helped keep prices for a new half-ton down a bit.

"It is believed to play a role in competition for mates. The tusk may have other uses and its function is still debated, primarily because few people have observed how these elusive #animals use their tusks in the wild... Using #drones, researchers captured 17 distinct behaviors, which shed light on the dynamics between the #narwhal, its prey and avian competitors."

Howdy #HamRadio fedizens, we are the Narwhal Amateur Radio Society (“NARS”), an ARRL affiliated #AmateurRadio club, not tied to any geographic region.

We welcome membership from licensed amateur radio operators and those who have not yet gotten their license -- and one of our explicit goals is to diversify the hobby. As part of the #Narwhal Pincushion, we follow the Narwhal Code of Conduct at all times. (narwhal.be/coc/)

Narwhal - Infosec, and EverythingCode of ConductNarwhal is a place for the odd ones out of security—policy, compliance, law, activism, and others who see more to security than a stereotype of black t-shirts and a red team future—to come together. Next event at ToorCamp 2024!
