This post on the #Proton blog shows that they might at least be less gullible than their CEO about Trump and the Republican Party, but I would sure like them not to completely ignore their community's concerns over their CEO's recent statements.
So far, I’m about £8 up on this. Email £1 per month. Passwords, less than £1 per month. It leaves me £8 to spend on a VPN.

Scratch that. After a bit of shopping around and reading reviews, I settled on Bitwarden. For £10 it seemed worth giving it a go.
So, that’s a new email provider, a new password manager. Now to find a new VPN. #protonexodus
The whole controversy about Proton is a good reminder that it's best to build your personal tech infrastructure in a way that doesn't lock you in with any service provider. Use your own domain name for email. Self-host everything you can.

Però pensiamoci un attimo senza farci salire il sangue alla testa. Se lui è contento, significa che farà molti più soldi. Ma del resto Proton fa soldi se le persone si sentono insicure e corrono ad acquistare un servizio di #email a prova di capitalismo della #sorveglianza (possiamo chiamarlo un modello di business basato sul capitalismo della sicurezza?)
Quindi benvengano coloro che con buona probabilità cercheranno di spiare nelle mail e nelle chat che "nostre" non lo sono mai state.
Mentre scrivo questo post mi viene suggerito l'hashtag #protonexodus dal client, si vede che mi ero perso il relativo #fedidrama ... Non voglio dirvi nulla in merito, solo che mi trovo più che bene con il mio provider tedesco che non mi chiede neppure di identificarmi, e non mi paga per dirlo: #posteo
