Looks like something got borked with cloud-init, so I had to do some manual editing through ProxMox's CLI. Mitex LeoHere’s the problem: when I try backing up a VM from another server (Proxmox 1), the VM is 300 GB but only ~30 GB used. Mitex LeoI run Proxmox Backup Server (PBS) in a VM on one of my servers - let’s call it Proxmox 2. PBS uses 100 GB of cache storage because I’m using S3 as a datastore. Not sure yet what the issue is but this caused a corosync issue which prevented all essential VMs in office to fail to start due to lack of Quorum. When I get back I really need to give my main host more votes so it starts anyway. Had to disable corosync and start manually to get VMs/LXC back online (including this instance). For now: sudo systemctl stop corosync pve-cluster sudo pmxcfs -l

So it completely broke networking on the machine. Nice! I had to pull it off the shelf, connect a screen, and start troubleshooting. Luckily I have decades of experience "dying at the keyboard" fixing temperamental Linux issues.But it's a lame way to spend a Saturday morning.It illustrates in my mind why non-Linux people should not run Linux to do self-hosting or anything. It's too full of traps.And it's for this reason that Dropserver will run on Mac at the very least. So people who want to avoid Linux can.
