Well, I got a good amount of writing done today, along with some laundry and a few other chores. Since I didn't walk, my chronic pain isn't as bad as it usually is, which means I'll probably sleep better than usual tonight. All in all, a pretty good day.

Well...darn got the first two rides in and halfway through the lawn when it started to rain so I'll have to go out and finish it later after it dries up a bit...still darn cold here at 52 and dropping and we have another gale warning on for the day so I won't even attempt an outdoor ride...tore a bit of scalp off banging my head on a floor joist when I climbed in the crawl space to turn the outdoor tap on for the summer and also scraped my right knee...getting old...good morning!

Good morning. It's Monday AND I have a dentist appointment, not the best start to the week. Still, the sun is out, and hummingbirds are coming to the feeders regularly.

It's painful to look outside and see everything covered in yellow-green pollen, but I think there's been less accumulation overnight. Maybe the worst is over? I look forward to when we can power wash the porches, put out the cushions and enjoy sitting outside again.

A new day. A new chance to succeed.

Every day I ask myself "Is this the day?"

Do I do the thing?

Or not.

I check off my boxes in the morning. Morning Maintenance. The Bare Minimum.

Even then not always all of them.

It's like I'm testing an internal switch.

Is it on or is it off?

Like I don't have the choice to make it one or the other.

Yet forcing it almost always fails. Catching rain in a sieve.

But sometimes?

Sometimes it works.

May your switch be on #today

Good morning and TZAG, friends.

We had a very pleasant dinner with some of the in-laws last night. I really enjoyed seeing my mother-in-law's garden. I hadn't visited in a couple of years and really dig how it has grown and changed. We took home some gift plantings and inspiration.

#today is a bit gray but should be agreeable enough to start my day with a run. I have the rest of the day to myself and am looking forward to wrapping up testing my latest code then working to get it deployed.

Hey y'all 👋 Good morning to ya.
Yup. It's Monday again, but not a bad start to it #today.

It's a pleasant 62deg at sun up this morning heading to around 82deg by sunset, and some sun to sit n sip in before clouds and rain move in this afternoon. That should supply the last brick in building our summertime weather transition with the arrival of the humidity. 🫤

The air is still quite stuffy n smelly, this morning forcing an early closing of the wimdows even though it was still much cooler outside. But good enough n much better breathing. Hopefully, the rain expected over the next few days will wash that junk from the air. 🤞

Not much on my Monday Honey-doin menu. Just the normal cleaning of the clutter from neglecting it to sit n slack and sofa surf my weekend away. 💪

But, coffee first. ☕👍

Y'all have a great start to your week. 🤗🖖

Good morning!

Today I decided to give my aching joints a rest and stayed in rather than walking.

As always, I hope to write a good number of words today.

Yesterday, I cooked myself an Easter dinner of lamb steak, carrots, and baked potato. The lamb steak was so big, I'll be doing it again today.

Have a good one, my friends.

Something I'd forgotten all about came up in my FB memories today. This is the post:

"I've just received a letter from a reader of my books. She's reading Blood Libel. It inspired her, she said, to seek out the only synagogue in the (I'm guessing rural) county she lives in and wish them a blessed Passover. What a wonderful letter to get today!"

That might be the best thing I've ever received from a reader.
