Ade Thompson<p>Anyone got any experience with slide/film scanners? (Not flatbed, dedicated scanner to the task).</p><p>Looking to pick up a used one to archive old slides but seems a bit of a minefield both in terms of hardware and software. Some people swear by VueScan but by all accounts the support leaves a lot to be desired.</p><p>Any insight grateful.</p><p><a href="https://mas.to/tags/scanning" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>scanning</span></a> <a href="https://mas.to/tags/scanner" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>scanner</span></a> <a href="https://mas.to/tags/photography" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>photography</span></a> <a href="https://mas.to/tags/slides" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>slides</span></a> <a href="https://mas.to/tags/support" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>support</span></a> <a href="https://mas.to/tags/coolscan" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>coolscan</span></a> <a href="https://mas.to/tags/plustek" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>plustek</span></a> <a href="https://mas.to/tags/vuescan" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>vuescan</span></a> <a href="https://mas.to/tags/nikon" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>nikon</span></a></p>
