The news is grim today. I offer up an Indy moment of zen as an alternative to doom-scrolling.
Sometimes, you just need a break to contemplate the vastness of the universe. Indy may have been taking in the sights and thinking about his existence, or he may have just been wondering when we were going to stop for dinner.
In case there was any question, Indy absolutely loves life.
Today is King Kamehameha Day in Hawaii.
This is the only state holiday that celebrates a former monarch. King Kamehameha I is also known as Kamehameha The Great, as his reign saw the creation of the Kingdom of Hawaii (which encompassed all of the major Hawaiian Islands under one ruler for the first time).

Indy got to visit the Mauna Loa mac nut visitor center.
The Hōkūle'a was docked in Hilo recently and Indy was given an opportunity to see it up close!
