it seems more fucked up a middle class, middle aged businessman and father of 3 ends up as suspect for deliberately #driving through a crowd of people and causing multiple injuries in #England (still a relatively stable, affluent country in Northern #Europe) as an act of pure #RoadRage and #ToxicMasculinity *rather* than any #terrorism / political motive

It makes you wonder if *any* supposedly normal person on the roads is capable of snapping and committing such an act simply because something up ahead is preventing them driving their car at the speed they want to proceed at (and will also make things even harder for any outdoor or public event organisers as they will have more security/surveillance procedures to implement if the venue is anywhere near live traffic)

Its a shame what happened to this lad, although not even the Coroner's report (which I read) clarifies *why* he was ejected from the car during the collision (was he wearing a seat belt?) - and realistically neither the government nor the Police have the resources to enforce graduated #driving licences - they would also impact younger workers in health and social care (or any job with long/unusual hours) who are often legitimately and safely giving work colleagues lifts.

TBH if the current govt were to push this through, they could also risk pushing yet more young men towards voting Reform..
