@profoundlynerdy I had a Radio Shack TRS-80 Model 100 as my main system at home for logging in to work (with its built-in 300 baud modem) for a couple of years. The display was 8x40. It worked just fine for email and newsgroups, IIRC. At least, I don't think I suffered any long-lasting trauma. ;-)
Also wer heutzutage noch von einer #Cloud ernsthaft abhängig ist oder dort seine Daten freiwillig hochlädt, der muss ein wirklich gutes Risikomanagement haben ...

TA406 Pivots to the Front
In February 2025, TA406, a North Korean state-sponsored actor, began targeting Ukrainian government entities with phishing campaigns aimed at gathering intelligence on the Russian invasion. The group utilized freemail senders impersonating think tank members to deliver both credential harvesting attempts and malware. Their tactics included using HTML and CHM files with embedded PowerShell for malware deployment, as well as fake Microsoft security alerts for credential theft. The malware conducted extensive reconnaissance on target hosts, gathering system information and checking for anti-virus tools. TA406's focus appears to be on collecting strategic, political intelligence to assess the ongoing conflict and potential risks to North Korean forces in the region.

ZenDesk does consider a bouncogram with custom message an answer? In other words: my reject+keep sieve answer results in the ticket being open on their end again?

Back in the day when 40 column displays were common on microcomputers, was email and newsgroup participation with 80 column systems awkward? Be that FidoNet and Echomail or the real ARPANET / Internet if (somehow) available.
By the time I was connecting to BBS systems I had access to an 80 column machine, so I don't personally recall.
The bank with *thirty-two* boxes for email address in its PDF/paper forms, you know because "Ha Ha they can't possibly need more"? The joke's on you.
