And do you expect people outside the Anglo-pot-hole you live in to understand what all this means?

You should consider taking English as a 2nd language course in the near future, if you are to continue writing in an international forum that is.

#English most abused by the natives of England.

1. Never use a metaphor, simile, or other figure of speech which you are used to seeing in print (or Ticktoks, or reels, or whatever)

2. Never use a long word where a short one will do.

3. If it it possible to cut a word out, always cut it out.

4. Never use the passive [voice] where you can use the active.

@kuketzblog @padeluun Anglo-American culture has lost a lot of its appeal for me under #Brexit and #MAGA. It no longer stands for cosmopolitanism and international relations, for freedom, democracy and progress. For some time now, I have been interested in the international language #Esperanto, which opens up completely new horizons for me to people and cultures from all over the world. A language that connects people. #usa #uk #english #europe #trump

Although the rest of the world often judges or questions my knowledge of English, it is actually not that easy to learn English in Malaysia. Some people are more influenced by American English, such as local entertainment, while teachers and news providers often use British-influenced English. Teachers always encourage us to use and learn British spelling. I am not sure why the teachers do that. Malaysian English is in search of an identity, I guess, clashing with both American and British English. When we try to use a Malaysian accent, it is also hard to understand, even when I try. This is in contrast to my experience listening to native English speakers, due to the slang that only certain groups of people understand. #MyEnglish #ManglishPride #LanguageIdentity #MalaysianDilemma #BritishVsAmerican #LinguisticColonization #ProudlyMangled #Education #Opinions #English #MalaysianEnglish
