The Architect's Eclipse | #Relaxation #Focus #Meditation
Somewhere in the universe, on a planet made of sands, The Architect set down a monolith-like object. As civilizations emerged and discovered it, they questioned its purpose and origin. Could it be a beacon, marking a specific point in space in the Universe; or time, as when it eclipses bright celestial objects passing in the sky?

This is a terrific exercise in focus.

If you people watch at a museum, you'll notice most people spend seconds, not minutes, looking at a work of art. It's one reason I like to sketch at museums. Even if the drawing isn't very successful, I'll always remember that work.
The focus and absorption cement it in my brain. I may forget the artist, the title (if not famous), but the work itself stays in my memory forever. #art #focus #arthistory

The New York Times · Can You Spend 10 Minutes With This Painting?By Larry Buchanan

A Future Majestic, Eugene Von Bruenchenhein, 1956

Super weird art here, at first glance I think that there are forms of things like flowers and clouds and maybe corals, even architecture? Palm leaves? But it's all abstract, there's nothing actually there except colors and shading and maybe hints.

The artist's story is interesting, self-taught outsider...

Something about it seems neurodivergent? or whatever the kids say nowadays 🌈❤️🌩️👽
