We tried following automated relay accounts to bring content to our Pixelfed instance, but they don't filter their boosts and bring lots of poor-quality images (AI, spam, low definition etc). So, if we want to offer a nice instance to our family and friends, we're kind of obliged to curate accounts one by one to sort of "control" what enters our server (in the beginning only - after some days, we can't really control anymore).
