Das ist alles was ich bisher vorweisen kann. Naja gut eine einzelne Erdbeere hatte ich auch schon. Angeblich sollen es ab Donnerstag 28 Grad werden, mal sehen, was dann noch wächst. Esst ihr Salat eigentlich auch mit Zucker? Wennich keine Salatsoße da habe, esse ich Salat immer mit Zitrone und Zucker, weil meine Mutter den früher immer so gemacht hat. #garden #balconygardening #garten #lettuce #kindheitsessen

I'm working an #aeroponic vertical tower to grow #lettuce , 3D printer but with a solar powered battery to run the pump.
I know I'll need to adjust the run times but trying to work out what the best starting timings should be, I was thinking something like 3 minutes on and 17 off or is that too long off. I'm in the UK so currently climate is quite dry. The controller is programmed by me so I can do any combination, perhaps 1 min on and 6 mins off.
Any suggestions?

A sweeping genetic analysis by researchers at #CDC suggests a tiny mutation in one of the #bacteria's molecular weapons may be behind the strain's rise. The mutation the CDC researchers found was in one of these #T3SS effectors, a protein called #EspW. The CDC researchers suggest this could help E. coli when it's on #lettuce and other #produce.

@solaradmin my #hydroponics setup is going well, so it's time to start working on the next project - a vertical hydroponics tower, for simplicity I'm using on of the modular designs off printables and I've got some spare filament made from waste filament from 3DQF.
I've realised though I won't have power for the water pump so currently designing a 12V solar system to power it. I've had to splash out for a small lithium battery but I'm hoping to salvage/repurpose the rest of the components, might even make my own solar panel from raw cells (if I don't crack them all while handling them)
Thinned the beets yesterday and planted some of those in 4 more rows. Looks like some will survive. It was really windy after I got done so they might have been flopping around some. No loss really.
Peas are growing more and the lettuce stumps are taking off again even with help from the chickens one day.
Picked some more radish, more tasty salad to have.
