The 7800+ "residential proxy" IP addresses this week from malware infected PCs and Android/iOS also trying to dump spam or brute-force their way into my mail server by password guessing are a bit more work :) See <a href="https://codeberg.org/jwildeboer/gists/src/branch/main/2023/20230422LogCheck.md" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">codeberg.org/jwildeboer/gists/</span><span class="invisible">src/branch/main/2023/20230422LogCheck.md</span></a> for some simple scripts I use to identify those.</p><p><a href="https://social.wildeboer.net/tags/SysAdminLife" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>SysAdminLife</span></a> <a href="https://social.wildeboer.net/tags/Mailserver" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Mailserver</span></a></p>

Bitslingers-R-Us<p>What do people here do to deal with the non-stop phishing spam that come from Google’s servers?</p><p>Google couldn’t give the slightest shit. I’m wondering about setting up web-based “Sender Address Verification” for all email from Google.</p><p>(No, it wouldn’t be the kind that didn’t verify DMARC / SPF before sending the reply - too many people complain about this when it’s simple to not be dumb.)</p><p>Thoughts?
