Trump's budget cuts have resulted in US Food & Drug Admin cancelling its quality/safety testing of milk and milk products. So if you are outside of US and not already boycotting US milk etc. because of some earlier Trump clusterf**k, the cancelled testing program should give you all the incentive you need.

Now, this may worry some of you

But there's no need to worry

Because the #USA govt is also not reporting #disease outbreaks anymore

So you can relax:

When you're deathly ill from Listeria, it won't bother anyone!

And since they will no longer test cows for #birdFlu, there will be no evidence of it. Why waste your money on something there is no evidence of?

This is great!

A pilot study found that acidification of raw whole milk (with citric acid) to a pH of 4.1-4.2 for 6 hours resulted in complete inactivation of the bird flu (H5N1) virus.

There was an indication that the effectiveness of inactivation may be dependent on fat content of the milk.

These pH levels are within the range resulting from fermentation (4.0-4.5).
