Going along with @martinschemm FotoVorslag "Kugelrund" today, mostly because I found his photo so stunning! Go check it out! Though not really perfectly spherical, this prism was the best I could come up with. It hangs in my window and I'm very fond of it.

#Macbook Update: I have cleaned it all up, installed #AlpineLinux & #Flatpak. I got a few apps added (e.g. #Prism, Spotify, #Shortwave) and a few games from #Steam downloading.

For the most part things are looking promising. Only issue so far is that Alpine does not at all recognize the internal #wifi. Using a wifi dongle at the moment. We'll see how this works out. I can always try Fedora Cinnamon Spin that worked on my older Macbook?

I'm trying to help people (with 0 coding experience or desire to gain coding experience) transition out of GraphPad PRISM as our uni has removed our license. Does anyone have any thoughts on the best way to get data out of Prism without a licence?

* LAN networks and popular internet (late 1990s), Tor (2002)
* directories, crawling based search (1998) and web 2.0 (coined in 2004, mainstream crash)
* web in our pocket (iPhone in 2006)
* crypto currencies (since 2009, intl. fallback where banking systems fail)
* web shops, online banking, ERMs, crowd funding ...

Now, in this world, power (Macht) means to know and care about hierarchical/centralized structures such as physical backbones (cables, antennas, fibers, satellites), search engines and their results, influencers and their funding, central certificate authorities, hardware production, crypto security...

• #Apple has integrated #Govware #Backdoors for #iOS and served their customers.in the "P.R." China on a silver platter to the government.

The sheer ability and willingness of Apple to do this makes them inherently untrustworty.

• If they cared about #privacy amd #security they'd never been a #PRISM collaborator and rather pulled out of #China than deepthroated Beijing's boots!

#iOS is not like @GrapheneOS where you have means to audit it's integrity on the fly built-in.
