Bonus video for #FotoVorschlag “Sonnenuntergang oder Sonnenaufgang” / Sunset or sunrise

I’m bending (breaking?) the rules by submitting a video, but I wanted to share this time lapse I captured of a Manhattan sunset on September 11th last year. The annual Tribute in Light becomes visible at the end as the daylight fades. I should have recorded for a bit longer, but I was hungry and cold! I’ll try again another year.

"Among #artdeco’s leading practitioners in #NYC were a number of #Jewish #architects. These talented #Jews, like Emery Roth and Ely Jacques Kahn, built renowned art deco buildings like Essex House, the Film Center Building, the El Dorado apartments and more.

Keep scrolling to meet seven Jewish architects and #architectural firms who created some of #NewYorkCity’s best-known art deco treasures, which have shaped the city’s #skyline for a century."

I’ve been a little quiet on here — life caught up, burnout knocked louder than I expected, and I had to turn the camera inward for a while.

It wasn’t easy, but sometimes slowing down is the only way forward.
Now that I’m feeling more like myself again, I’m excited to take you back with me — to rooftops, reflections, and skies for pausing, dreaming, and letting your mind exhale.

Do you feel the dreamy mood too?
