At this age, my daughter interacts with objects grabbing and pulling, so I decided to make the #toy controllable via a cord knotted to a limit #switch. She can pull briefly to advance to the next #song or keep pulled to make it spin. I added an initial colorful animation. Also, it can be used as night light controlling it via #homeassistant or any web browser in local network. Here's how it works (video):
Played the #TowaAndTheGuardiansOfTheSacredTree demo for a couple hours tonight.
I’m pretty bummed it only runs at 30fps on #Switch and Switch 2. That’s a dealbreaker for me.
While it does run at 60fps on PS5 and Xbox, I feel roguelites shine brightest on handhelds. Being able to knock out a run on a break is really nice. That’s what made Hades so fun for me.
Here’s to hoping they drop a Switch 2 patch. The art and audio work are so nice, I don’t want to pass on it.

I don't own a device from MikroTik yet, but followed reports by tech people who swear by the price / performance / quality ratio of this devices.
My next Wi-Fi router will most definitely be MikroTik. Same with my next managed switch that will have 2.5 Gbit
I feel bad in some way that I never quite “got” _Hades_. I was expecting something as addictive as like _Into the Breach_—the game that really got me into the original #Switch—but it just didn’t stick. To each their own I guess.

An updated Nintendo patent depicts a second display attached to what resembles the new console below it, which could be the Switch 2.

Wenn ich mir meinen Urlaubseinkauf rückblickend so anschaue, könnte man meinen, dass ich mich bisher mental etwas unterfordert fühle.

Nintendo partner LynxByte Games recently shared on social media that developers won't receive access to Nintendo Switch 2 dev kits if their games don't take advantage of Switch 2 features, such as 4K at 60 FPS and HD Rumble 2.
Nintendo has submitted 2 new patents that might eventually add a crank and a clickable wheel to the Switch 2 Joy-Con.
For the moment, the domain of my main blog is offline while moving from WordPress to Kirby in the background. 
I bought the Tablog Theme for Kirby in order to get things started and have space for blogging my thoughts again, get them out of my head. 
While I get familiar with Kirby as my new CMS of choice, I will work in the background in silence on my own created theme for it. 
Funny seeing #Nintendo with their new patents filed for this odd #Switch 'crank' that just makes me think of the cute yellow #Playdate console!

Few people here may know Australian games developer #Powerhoof. Their first an most famous game is the splendid multiplayer Dungeon Crawler called #Crawl, mixing coop/versus aspects and arcade-style short, intense play sessions.
Just a few weeks ago their new game arrived: #TheDrifter, a fast paced #PointAndClick thriller. Not only does it look gorgeous, but it also sounds fantastic thanks to the full voice-overs for the characters and the atmospheric soundtrack. Cant wait to play!
