#today I'll try to catch up with my work and start preparing the house - some things need cleaning and arranging before we can leave it for the catsitter on Sunday. He will not have an easy job anyhow as we did not yet find a home for the two kitten, and they turn out to be very needy. Yesterday my hb managed to put one of them to Lady for feeding - they can eat, but they are always in search for mama and suckle on fingers, ear lobes or whatever they find. Poor little things.

#3GoodThings #Today

1. I installed my bidet and it was so easy. (I had one in a previous house and just never had the spoons to install one here)

2. My plants survived their first full night outside. Everybody looked perky and happy this morning.

3. Secret third thing I'm not entirely ready to talk about here but am so happy about. (is this cheating? Idc)

...in #politics #today we'll discuss why the mass murder in #Gaza is not #genocide how denying an entire population of #food isnt #starvation, and how killing #Palestians now is "way different" than during the #obama era.

...after points have been structured to at least seem logical to the blind #viewers, we'll invite a raving mad lunatic to destroy all that and remind us that forced genocide and starvation IS THEIR GOAL!!

..segment WILL be obvious, but its antisemi if you point that out.

After deciding that I should probably give the exercise a miss #today and rest it out, I've just come in for a cuppa after spending two and a half hours in the sun sweating while scrubbing the garage door clean (after about five years of it building up a particularly tenacious biome of its own).

I do not know why it had to be done today (it didn't) I just walked past it while taking the dog out earlier and thought "I should do that sometime," (as I have done at least weekly for about four years), and then just started it after lunch today.

It does look nice and white again, and I have balanced out my regular lower body-centric cycling work with some pretty intense upper body work for a change.

Phlegm is occupying only about 30% of my attention span today. This is an improvement, due largely to my ingestion of amoxicillin twice a day since Thursday.

I'm grateful for modern medicine.

A late good morning. Rain keeps me inside today. There will be no porch time and no gardening. I can even put off errands until a nicer day.

My old standbys of genealogy and reading will keep me busy. When there's a break in the showers I'll refill the bird feeders. At least the bird bath won't need filling. A quiet day.

I wish you a quiet day if you could use one. 😊

#Today, it is back to the everyday grind. Phineas will go on his pack hike later this morning, which may tire him out. Obi has to go to the vet, so I'll have to give him his medication (Cerenia and trazodone) to help him cope with his car ride. It is a little cooler today than it has been. Tonight, I will play the first Baldur's Gate with Chris. It is just a routine day.

A new day. A new chance to succeed.

A busy day ahead. Part new business, part old.

My elder offspring has a birthday which we will celebrate together.

My favorite game gets a significant update.

My word sprints yesterday gave my Practice a much needed kick in the boosters and I want to build a streak.

A beautiful morning calls me to get out and enjoy it.

So much to do. I may not get to it all, but even a few of these will be marvelous.

I hope your day will be as marvelous #today

Good morning!

I skipped my early-morning walk because of the rain. It looks like it's going to keep raining all day today and tomorrow, so I'll probably skip tomorrow's walk as well. Maybe I'll try my senior exercise video again.

These kinds of days are good for writing. Nowhere I want to go, no noise coming from people working or playing outside, even the cat just wants to hibernate. So I hope I will get a good amount of writing done.

Have a good one, my friends.
