There's a HUGE new #Thunderbird update incoming including a new UI and icon, so better take a closer look before you upgrade:

@cryptgoat Oh great. I though you were keeping the option of the existing, familiar, perfectly good UI.
And how is not upgrading an option?
@happyborg You can still modify most parts of the UI to your liking and pretty much disable all of the new buttons and view modes. And there are still two more regular 102.x updates left after 102.13.0 if you want to keep waiting a bit longer. Some of this has been explained here: https://blog.thunderbird.net/2023/02/thunderbird-115-supernova-preview-the-new-folder-pane/
@cryptgoat thanks. Also, I know and I suspect you know that this will be shit for all those established users who just want to read email and organise their work using it the same way they've done for years.
This is the problem when people have too much time or money that they feel they need to spend "improving" when what's needed in a popular long established application is stability and bug fixes, and occasional none global changes driven by users.
