The introductions by the Hungarian presidium and the commissioner are real tearjerker stories. This is just the kind of we can do anything if we just say "think of the children" politics that law enforcement types like very much. And the mindless repetition of lobbyist numbers is not very impressive.
Besides the fearmongering that the current rules are running out. Just drama queening. The Commission can and will easily extend them again.
