I found this gem while compiling a 50th anniversary demo video for Australia's introduction of #Colour #ColorTV

EPILEPSY TRIGGER WARNING: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/o2XS_SSq7FM

Different timing persistence-of-vision for R, G, B. This survives a LOT of manipulation, compression, etc: It works if you rotate it, it survives contrast ratios, and putting it through an RGB oscilloscope and removing all colour data proves it is true B&W.

What you can't change is the timing, or play it backwards. Each of the effects has to be 1/30th of a second apart: Each "colour" is a black-on-white object, but "red" needs a 1/30th sec white gap after it; "blue" needs a 1/30th sec white gap before it, and "green" needs a white gap before & after.

I think you have to put the black gap on the other side of a white gap. Again, wow.
