ThinkPad-MuseumNach vielen Jahren hab ich endlich ein funktionales T30 in brauchbarem Zustand gefunden. 🤩Es ist ein sehr schönes 14“-Gerät mit Mustache-TouchPad und angenehm dünnen Displayrändern. Das T30 ist das einzige T-Modell mit Pentium 4 und der berüchtigten 45 Grad-Kante, die es auch bei der R3x-Serie gab.Habe hier zwar schon drei weitere T30 - aber alle defekt und in schlechtem Zustand. Especially chapter 2.4.1 FreeBSD Boot Loader Menu, I figure out that enable Safe mode in Boot Options helped to boot and install the system. (Disabling ACPI support was not helpful as I read on some forum).After the system was installed, I tried to find out the minimal set of system settings and sysctl variables which had to be set to boot the installed system on my ThinkPad X200 (*).I ended with the one and only one settings: kern.smp.disabled=1It unfortunately means that symmetric multi-processor support is disabled and there is only one CPU core used.
