A blackbird dreaming in spring. I’ve had a rather fraught relationship with some blackbirds this spring. The black birds, I have been contending with are red wing blackbirds, starlings, and the common grackle. I love birds, but these birds eat up all the birdseed and scare away the other smaller birds. For a while, this spring, I fought it banging on the window to scare them away. But then I thought I think there’s more than enough to share and I just started putting out more bird feed now the smaller birds come and the bigger black birds, but there’s enough that no one goes hungry and there’s a better vibe.

Tired looking Nia is falling through endless space, orange hair flailing upwards in the fall. They are wearing a gray shirt, light gray pants, and orange socks. The comic style is rough, and unrefined.

"OH NO! NOT AGAIN!", they exclaim desperately.

Second panel, bordered with a roughly drawn black square. The white and brown background is filling up with a wave of light blue. Nia's white comic strip skin has gained tanned skin color below the blue wave, and they are now falling head first through the air.

"WAIT! I DIDN'T MEAN TO!" They yell more.

Panel 3: the background has turned to blue and the rough square has disappeared. The sketchy comic style has turned to a full, colourful painting.

Nia is hanging, bewildered, flushed and exhausted upside down from bright green vines that sproud pink flowers. Their clothes are the same, except the gray pants are now dark blue jeans. Below them are endless green brushes and light pink sunset. 4 strange pink creatures are staring at them. The creatures have spherical heads, wide, red oval mouths with a row of white, stubby teeth.

Nia is finishing their sentence from last panel with defeated "BLINK". (Completed sentence reads "I didn't mean to...blink."

Same flower as yesterday's post, but this time in level with it and with f/1.4. I had to squat here; not a pleasant thing to do with a bad knee! I've made several shots here and I had the intention to see if I can make up a 3D image out of them but till this very moment, I didn't! (For the record, this was shot on March 11th). This was also rendered in HDR, but I didn't go crazy with the tone-mapping and kept it as natural as possible; it helped on bringing up some vivacity to the image in general (it was a bit bleak originally).
