On Monday I had the pleasure of meeting @JimsPhotos he very kindly showed me around one of his local reserves.

It’s a lovely spot, very friendly people and although it was a little quiet on the bird front there were other things to see like this Grass Snake.

Not necessarily a couple’s goal, but I went to Amsterdamse Bos (Amsterdam Forest) to look at new hoodies. My wife also liked the hoodies, so….

Walk in the woods. Sat down a while near the trunk housing grass snakes. They had no intention to go outside while I was there.

After the rain the sun started to shine. Time to observe the grass snake again. It turned out it’s a family 2 adult snakes and at least 2 juveniles.
