The Grue<p>To install <a href="https://digitalcourage.social/tags/lineageos" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>lineageos</span></a> on my new old tablet, the instructions tell me to use <a href="https://digitalcourage.social/tags/odin" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>odin</span></a> v3.13.1 (see <a href="https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/gta4lwifi/install/#pre-install-instructions" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">wiki.lineageos.org/devices/gta</span><span class="invisible">4lwifi/install/#pre-install-instructions</span></a>).<br />I&#39;m not able to find that for <a href="https://digitalcourage.social/tags/linux" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>linux</span></a> (wtf?). Is it available somewhere or are there alternatives? Could I use a never version (the Odin instructions seem to be strict about the versions) or maybe <a href="https://digitalcourage.social/tags/heimdallflash" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>heimdallflash</span></a> ?</p>
Sam Howell<p>I just finished the slightly nerve-wracking but very important task of flashing and sideloading the <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/LineageOS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>LineageOS</span></a> 20 release and recovery images (an upgrade from 19.1). All went smoothly. <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/heimdallflash" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>heimdallflash</span></a> and <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/adb" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>adb</span></a> served me well once again.
