I am not a software developer. I like to tinker. More so recently as I've been really digging in to Python.

Although VSCode is fine (really) and probably the right choice for almost everyone - I have to say that fighting through the (often frustrating) hump of getting nvim up and running as an IDE has been immensely satisfying. Especially when paired with tmux.

It doesn't hurt that working that way offers the major bonus of making you feel like a serious l337 haxx0r once you start getting into the rhythm and fully commit to vim motions.

Oh, nice. Now that I have my first forgejo-runner working [1], I just copied the systemd unit file, changed the WorkingDir and registered a new instance with #codeberg. So now I can also send CI/CD jobs from codeberg to my own builder machine :) #BYOB - Bring Your Own Build machine :) Now the builds run on MY electricity bill (or solar power ;) #GreenIT

Ich hatte gerade einen #Nerdgasm. Ich fand in meiner Foto-Galerie ein Bild meines Unterarms mit einer Strichliste und könnte mich nicht erinnern was dahinter steckte. Dann fiel mir ein dass es der 14. April war... Der Tag der Stille. Das ist aus sich heraus lustig weil die Stille ja eine Alien-Rasse ist, die die Erdlinge ständig "blitzdingst".

Die Stille ist eine der Großartigen Erfindungen bei Dr. who. Wie die Weinenden Engel oder die Vashta Nerada.
