Andreas Hepp<p>Our next version of <a href="https://sciences.social/tags/OpenQDA" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>OpenQDA</span></a> went online: a tool for qualitative <a href="https://sciences.social/tags/data" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>data</span></a> <a href="https://sciences.social/tags/analysis" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>analysis</span></a>. Key features: ease of use, collaborative work on projects and a plug-in infrastructure that allows it to be expanded with additional functions if required. Lauren Pikó<p>Doing a proper <a href="https://hcommons.social/tags/introduction" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>introduction</span></a> post to goad myself into posting here more... </p><p>I'm Lauren. I trained as a <a href="https://hcommons.social/tags/historian" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>historian</span></a>, though I'm often somewhere in critical <a href="https://hcommons.social/tags/interdisciplinary" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>interdisciplinary</span></a> <a href="https://hcommons.social/tags/CulturalStudies" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>CulturalStudies</span></a> spaces these days, via a patchwork of casual/sessional roles. </p><p>I wrote a PhD and book about the history of <a href="https://hcommons.social/tags/MiltonKeynes" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>MiltonKeynes</span></a> and its negative cultural reputation. I work on contested landscapes, and how they reflect temporal orientations. I also give workshops on <a href="https://hcommons.social/tags/ResearchMethods" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ResearchMethods</span></a> , <a href="https://hcommons.social/tags/DisabilityStudies" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>DisabilityStudies</span></a> , writing, <a href="https://hcommons.social/tags/reflexivity" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>reflexivity</span></a>, and <a href="https://hcommons.social/tags/history" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>history</span></a> for non-historians. My current project is on <a href="https://hcommons.social/tags/eco" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>eco</span></a>-crip <a href="https://hcommons.social/tags/QualitativeMethodology" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>QualitativeMethodology</span></a> and fatigue epistemologies, which is unfolding at an extremely <a href="https://hcommons.social/tags/CripTime" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>CripTime</span></a> pace.</p><p>While I joined here to follow <a href="https://hcommons.social/tags/histodons" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>histodons</span></a>, I will also sorely miss <a href="https://hcommons.social/tags/CriticalRole" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>CriticalRole</span></a> and <a href="https://hcommons.social/tags/Dimension20" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Dimension20</span></a> loreposting (and <a href="https://hcommons.social/tags/TTRPG" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>TTRPG</span></a> liveplay livetweets in general). If you have elaborate theories about <a href="https://hcommons.social/tags/ExUCalamity" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ExUCalamity</span></a> I am all ears. </p><p>Having never used so many hashtags in one space before, I think I need to go lie down.</p>
Anuja Cabraal (PhD)<p>I wanted to share what I am looking to create and share here. My main purpose for being here is to build a <a href="https://aus.social/tags/research" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>research</span></a> community.</p><p>In particular, a community where we can share ideas, knowledge, and thoughts around <a href="https://aus.social/tags/QualitativeResearch" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>QualitativeResearch</span></a>. </p><p>If this is an area you enjoy, please do tag me, or mention me, and I'll be sure to follow back.</p><p>I'm rather excited about building a qualitative research community on here. </p><p><a href="https://aus.social/tags/QualitativeMethods" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>QualitativeMethods</span></a> <a href="https://aus.social/tags/QualitativeMethodology" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>QualitativeMethodology</span></a><br><a href="https://aus.social/tags/research" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>research</span></a></p>
