Hello people,

past days I have seen multiple false claims in the fedi about
Particularly about user count.

First I thought that untruth like “nostr got more than 16 mio. users” were written by ChatGPT.

But it turned out that these were real people (some would maybe say “The Bitcoin Community”). Crazy.

They just looked at the below figures.
Unfortunately they did not look at the labels which make clear what is a “writing action” and what is a “profile” …
