The Boulder Police Department has posted an update on the Boulder attack: No victims of the attack have died. The suspect’s date of birth is Dec. 15, 1979, and the booking photo of the suspect has been released. The next press conference will be later today. This is one of the east Denver tornadoes from yday, as seen by my friend Aaron Botnick (shared with permission). I didn’t see this one myself, but I relayed his reports and photos to NWS, so that sort of counts, right? He said there were a series of at least 5 separate cloud-to-ground funnels. #cowx

Pretty intense thunderstorm with plenty of small hail passed through my part of Boulder county a bit ago. The hail did not appear to do any damage to the new plants (or cars). Minor street flooding but it is all clear now.
