It seems that in spite of our high view of #scripture many #protestants simply ignore this verse. “I can just go to Jesus and be forgiven” is the common retort. And yet Scripture tells us to confess to one another and pray for the other’s healing from sin.
The #Anglican, #Catholic, and #Orthodox traditions are being more wholly faithful to Scripture when they encourage the faithful to go to #confession .

One I just got done earlier (while listening to some Fit for a King and Haste the Day).
My favorite scripture, and qualities worth celebrating:
"...the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law." -Galatians 5:22-2
When I read Genesis 1:1-3 and see God shining Light into the darkness, I believe one lesson is that Light is the only solution to the darkness. There is no joining forces with the darkness. There is no using darkness to achieve a greater end.
There is only one way. Light.
If American #Christians weren't such detestable #hypocrites, they would follow their own #religion, and reject this man who their #scripture very clearly warns against.
