deBaer<p>Interessant noch zur wieder "aktuellen" "Debatte" rund um die "<a href="https://23.social/tags/Gendersprache" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Gendersprache</span></a>": Beim <a href="https://23.social/tags/bornhack" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>bornhack</span></a> habe ich erfahren, dass im Dänischen Dialekte mit 1, 2 und 3 Gendern friedlich zusammenleben. Plus natürlich Seeland, wo es zwar eigentlich 3 Gender gibt, aber nur noch 2 verwendet werden. Also bitte, etwas mehr Flexibilität und weniger Kultur(staatsminister)kampf!</p>

At @bornhack I saw one person with a dope Elite Cobra Mark III t-shirt. Unfortunately I did not ask that person for the source of the shirt.
Anyone attending this years #bornhack maybe know that person and could put me in contact?

(Edit: It's not on the first two pages of Google image search, I checked)

@julijane is it, ok, I guess you know better than the NSA.

The #BornHack mailserver sent the last unencrypted byte years ago, that is not changing.

I can throw RFCs around too, rfc8314 says cleartext is obsolete, so now what? :) Nothing in email is RFC compliant, get over it.

If I were to re-enable STARTTLS to make you happy I would be compromising the security of communications with everyone else we email with. Not a good tradeoff at all.

So do TLS yourself or keep using gmail ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@julijane if TLS for mail was pointless then NSA would not be putting a lot of effort into preventing it by removing STARTTLS.

I would be happy to discuss the merits of email encryption maybe at the next #BornHack since I am the one who disabled unencrypted email on the BornHack mailserver :)
