Maybe you find some printer which has "blue Angel", Linux support and is manufactured in Japan.
(Vietnam, Malaysia have still a pretty bad renewable energy share and China and Korea should be avoided in general).
Please, if you have some findings put them in the list. Especially on Linux driver part I lost a bit track, since I don't own a printer anymore for quite a while :D
