The Ford Conservative government has essentially legalized corruption & incompetence.

Premier Ford’s #OntarioPlace legislation prohibits lawsuits against his government with respect to anything done under the Act, including: misrepresentations,
misconduct,
misfeasance,
bad faith,
breach of trust,
breach of fiduciary obligation.

Question is.. why has #DougFord re-written so many laws to protect himself and his govt?

Doug Ford is now talking about a giant above-ground parking garage on the waterfront because staff convinced him his underground parking garage idea is too expensive.

I see this as good news for defenders of green space on the waterfront. Doug’s still changing plans, not staying put and shutting up. *When he’s flailing, keep pushing*.

Toronto StarDoug Ford adds to confusion surrounding plans for Ontario Place’s contentious parking garageBy David Rider

Does Therme’s secret business plan for #OntarioPlace hold water?

Why is #DougFord obsessed with this Austrian company? Who knows who?

Why has the Premier signed away #Toronto's waterfront for a century when even the European press (excerpt below) is raising red flags on the financial & carbon costs of these mega spas?

Why is Ford gifting this relatively new company our public real estate to build private "spa" when Therme is posting poor economic performance at its established spas?

Absolutely endorse this column from Ed Keenan in the Star.

“The public is paying for the World Cup and Ontario Place redevelopment, so why are the deals secret?

When the costs and benefits of any government action are kept secret, how is our democratic system supposed to hold that government accountable?”

Kinga Surma is still spouting the ridiculous and outlandish lie that #Therme spa will host 6 MILLION visitors a year. (CN Tower sees 2 million+- visitors/year)
That's 16,438 people per day, meaning the luxury spa capacity needs to be about 5000+ people, all the time. No word yet on whether the private spa plans to stay open 'round the clock', similar to a casino.
