I finally got rid of the old bed I’d kept since moving in, so the room feels pretty empty right now.
I’m in the process of reorganizing everything and plan to turn this space into my own anarchist sanctuary.
Soon, I’ll add a bookshelf and more anarchist art to the wall, right next to the communist hammer and sickle symbol.

We're starting our process of what we keep versus what we move to a new house. We're #Downsizing, which means we have extra couches, beds, dressers, etc. Once we actually put an offer on a new house, ideally, in the next 2 weeks, we'll have a better idea of what has to go. Currently, we are cleaning out cupboards and building inventory for a garage sale in May, a month before our closing. We've got a few puzzles to sell.

Hi! I used to be on veganism.social but I consolidated my accounts and left. Now I think that was a bad decision so I’m back.
I’ve been vegan for a year. Some years back I was vegan-ish for about 6 months but gave up. My current attempt seems to be sticking, thankfully. I’m a happier person when I’m vegan. I was very influenced by the book Never Too Old To Go Vegan by Carol J. Adams.
I live in Brooklyn and think about the #environment a lot. I am a lifelong #sciencefiction fan. I’m trying to #declutter and live more sustainably. #introduction

I wonder how other people feel about decluttering. What is the benefit that helps you most when you're able to declutter your place? (or a projected benefit if you're hoping to declutter)
I'm thinking a lot about the process, what helps, what hinders, and how to get back to it when you had a big, long lapse in efforts.
