Good analysis esp. considering both Ukranian and ruZZian (surficial) motives. What I miss are the following points:

1. The only negotiations (ger.: Verhandlungen), that will end this war and make future ones more unlikely, are court hearings (ger.: Gerichtsverhandlungen) in . It's basically both, the conjunctive *and* the conditional meaning of . Neither will there be peace, as long as the felon of the is not sentenced, neither will there be under a broken law resp. under an accepted law breach. As the members of the International Law Association Committee have put it: "[...]Accordingly, states must cooperate to bring this aggression to an end through lawful means; they must not recognize as lawful any situation it creates; nor may they render aid or assistance in maintaining the situation.[...]" (S: justsecurity.org/80454/stateme)
