I'm gonna put this out there, knowing that the chances of someone knowing what I'm talking about are less than slim.
I'm trying to find out the artist and the artwork(s) that I saw as a kid on an Italian astrology magazine ("Astra") in the late 90s/early 2000s.
The magazine had an artwork by the same artist for each zodiac sign. Each artwork showed a person as that sign, and the way that person was dressed and other allegorical elements around/on them pointed out the characteristics of that sign (i.e. the element).
The only artwork I remember sort of clearly was the Pisces one. I kinda remember a woman dressed in green, her strange skirt was ending in a point on both her sides, to resemble a fish tail in both direction. If I am not mistaken, the woman was standing on a small structure which looked like a stone fountain, with water and probably fishes as well. I also remember she had two scary fishes on her head (their mouth meeting in the middle of her hair), and it was not clear if they were two alive fishes or an elaborate hat. They looked exactly like those horrid fishes all teeth and eyes that you can see on ancient artworks. The style of the artwork was a mix of early renaissance and surrealism.
Has anyone any idea who this artist and artwork might be?
