I've been using an #hey.com email account for the last few years. However, I think it's time to stop paying for something run by DHH.

Any suggestions for a good, preferably European email service? Currently, I'm thinking about #ProtonMail.

Furthermore, I need a replacement for #Basecamp, which I used to manage the bachelor thesis projects of my students. Any suggestions for a good alternative?

I cannot explain why but adding avatar to email addresses in #hey is one of the things that gives me so much satisfaction

Weirdly, in any other email client, I really do not care about the avatar but in HEY, it bugs me when it shows a generic avatar... 🤷

don't get too fancy with any android recommendations 😂 as far as i can tell most android users prefer databrokers and advertisements above any other software business model or something? madness. there doesn't seem to be a #SetApp android option. i miss Drafts.app a LOT already.

i was able to do #1password easily via qr splat, installed #Edge, #ReadwiseReader, #Fastmail and #Hey apps etc.

now Reader has indexed but the app is crawling when all i wanna do is tag some captured pages :(
