Cleared some more jungle and planted a blackcurrant.
Plus a scrawny little walnut tree that is however not doing so well and didn't produce any leaves this spring. Probably not well adapted or got spooked by the late frost surprise. We'll see if it comes to anything.

Planted the 6 scarlet runner beans started indoors 12 days ago. They were growing too fast to wait any longer. Lots of roots.

it makes me want to go out and plant things! but then i get a frost warning on my phone and am swiftly brought back down to reality.

*i acknowledge that my sample is small and incredibly biased as i love to follow people and hashtags that are full of blooming things. 
Spring is here, and my windows are full of seedlings and plants getting ready for outside harvest. As a neat addition this year I made ceramic signage with notes on the backside of min/max temperatures. The big plant in the picture is a black heart chili from @opensourceseeds which I managed to keep alive over the winter.

I always struggled with tomatoes - or should I say the tomatoes struggled with me :) And then I accidentally dropped a tomato with some kitchen scraps on a raised bed and forgot about it. A few weeks later the most resistent, resilient badass tomato plants of all times appeared there =D So yes, this works even in continental climates.
